eXtreme Gammon 2 allows user to export position using a diagram generated using a true type font. These diagrams allow for high quality printing as they are vectorial and print well no matter what size you use.
However if a person export a diagram using that friend and send it to someone who does not have eXtreme gammon, the diagram will appear as regular characters.
The font use by extreme gammon can be downloaded freely and can be redistributed for personal use.
The font cannot be modified, sold or embedded with any product without GameSite 2000 Ltd agreement. It can, however, be used to publish book, magazine, etc..
in other words: The only limitations are
The font cannot be sold
The font cannot be modified
The font cannot be embedded with other software commercial or not, without GameSite 2000 ltd. written approval.
On the other hand, the following can be done freely and without GameSite 2000 ltd. approval:
Embed the font in a document (PDF or any other)
Use the font to publish document (electronically or paper)
Send the font to someone else (for free)
Copy the font and link it on a website (for free)
I always appreciate if someone using the font mentions the software but it is not a requirement, just a courtesy.
